This post made me look at weather.com and I learned that apparently The Weather Channel has another stupid winter storm they've given a name, this time Nika, which is "pounding the Midwest."

I'm in Wisconsin, and just looked out my window. No snow. Well, none that is falling at the moment.

Yeah, apparently 3-6 inches. Something about the winterey mix (snow to ice to hail to snow to sleet to rain, or something like that) is making it a 90% chance of no school. I'm hoping for no school.

In the end they cancelled it at about 10:30 last night, which just seemed rude that they waited so long. About 300 other schools in CT were closed by 9:00, but they had to wait. Whatever, as long as we don't have school.:)
